A large carnivorous amphibian with slimy skin. When threatened by other predators it will spit fermented algae at the aggressor and hop into the water to swim to safety. A large fleshy-leaved plant able to pivot its flower full round thanks to a slender supple stem. When threatened the cratcha's single flower is thrust forth and spits a deadly poisoned substance. This creature in all of its appearances seemed to be a mount of sorts. There are mentions that the sagass served as mounts for the [[Tryker]].

An unseen animal from times forgotten... The baldusa is the graceful giant of Atysian seas. It emits a powerful electrical charge as it slices through Atys' watery depths like lightning through the humid summer air. The Karavan was said to have harnassed this creature to power their machines, but the knowledge was lost to the homins on the currents, and too many a homin has lost his life in trying to master this savage source of energy. Baldusa meat is a Tryker delicacy, which if not correctly prepared, can be toxic when ingested.

It has been mentioned in official sources that the Trykers used these animals as mounts.
