"Zoraï'i is the correct form as used by the Zoraï'i themselves. Of course your average Matis may not be aware of that fact

Well, I am not sure if the benefit justifies all the work. As far as I know, the Zoraï are spelled incorrectly on most pages anyway with a normal "i". I'd like to hear more opionions about that though.

I find the issue interesting though - never knew myself. Adding the info to the [[Zoraï]] page might be a good idea anyway.

As for replacing it all, im with cota, too many minor edits for now, if we work on pages and see incorrect usage, we should fix it. And then just go through what is remaining. I think pages directly in the context of the zoraï should be fixed asap though, like the [[Zoraï|Zoraï page]] and [[CoI|region pages like this one]].

Well, that's not so bad, I was imagining a number two to three times that. Yes, let's correct them as we happen across them, sparing the dialog and patch note things. I've posted about this in the correcting in-game texts thread on forums.ryzom.com , hopefully it'll start to get worked on there as well.

I did this page but left its root title intact until the redirects are in place- I don't know how to build one.

The Zoraï'i are feared mystics from the dark and hidden jungles who zealously serve the living planet. In their search for spiritual enlightenment, the Zoraï'i have grown close to the mysterious [[Kami]].

Over the centuries the Zoraï'i have built up a relationship with the [[Kami]]s and started to proudly wear the Kami [[Mask of Kinship|mask of kinship]] which distinguishes them from other homin races.

Following their society's three governing principles of Wisdom, Spiritual Accomplishment, and Respect for Nature, the Zoraï'i have searched for knowledge where others have searched for personal gain. The Zoraï'i were the first to write the spoken word so that the knowledge of their ancestors could prevail. Their society became structured around magnificent temple-cities where grand ceremonies were orchestrated to drive back the flora devouring cancer which the Kamis were powerless to repel themselves.

Since the devastating [[Great Swarming|swarming of kitins]], the Zoraï'i have once again expressly chosen their new sites in the middle of the enchanting jungle where pollution of the [[Goo]] is rife.

The first Zoraï'i were a mysterious group of people who lived in the ancient jungles in the region known as Zoran south of the river Ti-aïn. It is not known exactly when the Zoraï'i settled in the area but it was probably somewhere between 2199 and 2205. The first Zoraï'i set up camp in the jungle when a tribe of them came into contact with the Kami. Given to mysticism, the Zoraï'i built up mysterious temple cities centered around the worship of the Kamis. The goo-infested area the Zoraï'i had claimed was not prized by other people and their civilization was able to quickly expand becoming a force to be reckoned with. Led by a dynasty of spiritual chieftains, they were able to annex jungle land easily fending off [[Fyros]] attacks on their impregnable temple cities.

Under the [[Cho dynasty]] they undertook a campaign of territorial expansion to house their ever-increasing populations. They began to set up settlements to the north nearer to other homin civilizations. On witnessing what they saw as barbarous acts of cruelty they began the construction of a great wall delimiting their territory to preserve peace and harmony within and to keep undesirables out. This policy enabled them to steer clear of futile and soul destroying acts of violence and to keep out of the scourge of interracial warfare that continuously ravaged the ancient lands.

In the cover of their vast protected provinces, they were able to develop a form of writing and gave themselves to spiritual enlightenment. Zoraï'i are tall beings and have blue skin. Their hair often resembles grass and leaves and comes in a variety of natural colours. The Zoraï'i, being fervent worshippers of [[Ma-Duk]], have masks infused onto their faces.

The Company of the Eternal Tree is a tribe of devout Kami followers from all 4 homin races. Of all the many tribes aligned to the Kami, the Company of the Eternal Tree most directly follows and supports the Kami. As such, it's members can be found alongside Kami all over Atys, assisting the Kami in maintaining and guarding their altars and sanctuaries. Their main camps however are in Haven of Purity and in Nexus, and welcome visitors of all races as long as they do not oppose the Kami.

The Water Breakers are a tribe of Fyros and Matis allies who make their camp in Oflovak's Oasis, on the edge of the lakes. They remain followers of the Kami and allies of the Fyros Empire, for whom they guard the water supplies. They will welcome most homins into their camp, Tryker should be cautious however, as for some reason the Water Breakers dislike them.

The tribe chief of the Water Breakers, Boeseus Xalon, is the one who has homins undertake the 'trial of Oflovak' as part of the rite [[Fyros Story 2]], which tells the story of Oflovak Rydon, the famous Fyros traveller who discovered the Road of [[Exodus]] between the Old Lands and the New Lands. However, it is not known if there is any particular relation between Oflovak Rydon and the Water Breakers, other than that the Water Breakers happen to make their camp in the region that was named after Oflovak.
