Il peut arriver toutefois, que des régions aient plusieurs [[écosystème|écosystèmes]] différents ou encore que leur [[écosystème]] principal ne soit pas celui du [[Continent|sous-continent]] auquel elles appartiennent. Citons, par exemple, le de [[Bosquet de la Confusion]], la [[Source Cachée]] ou le [[Noeud de la Démence|Nœud de la Démence]].
