The 3DText model allows you to create special effects on the text with the Color palette on Atys. This style is selected according to one of the five 3D effects. These types are detailed below and are then visualized in a synoptic table to facilitate the choices.

Usage

This model should be avoided in documentary texts. On the other hand, it is very useful for highlighting and for specific objects such as buttons, infoboxes, light indicators, alert messages, etc. Cleverly used on non-plain backgrounds, because the shadows and lights always make the text appear by contrast, it allows you to create special effects and sometimes passe-partout.

3D Effects

• inset: text engraved in depth.
• outlet: raised text (protruding).
• flashy: neon text.
• glow: text with halo.
• shadow: text in foreground and shadow.

Colors extracted from the complete palette proposed for Ryzom. The settings are only in English to facilitate the copy/paste of the translators.

Settings

• 3D : one of the shapes (outset, inset, flashy, glow, shadow) (by default, the resulting shape is "inset").
• group : one of those listed above (by default, the color obtained is that of the "info", with full saturation).
• text : text to be highlighted.
