Carnivorous plant that looks like a trumpet when young; some specimens can reach six feet high.
The trumperer is of the same family as the flyner but does not have its aerial ability.
What is seen of the trumperer is actually its flower containing a fragrant pistil that attracts insects. These drown in the water contained at the bottom of the corolla-stem producing the nutrients necessary for the development of the plant.
The trumperer grows from a rhizome used by the Trykers to produce beer, but no one dares to make anything out of the rest of the plant, due to its stench.
