The arinish is a plant of the same family as the olansis of the Lakes and the Desert. It has large green leaves, composite and pinnate, which turn brown in autumn and grow from a single stalked bud buried in humus.
Although not of the same family, it is very similar to a plant that grows in the Forest, the arino (hence its very close naming).
The trunk of all varieties of arinish produces a kind of starch consumed by Zoraïs in the form of dough. Zoraïs also use this starch for numerous other purposes.
The leaves are used in craft in the form of braiding.
