Smaller than its cousin the olansi, the olash is also a plant with a stem.
Unlike its parent it can not fertilize itself and the flowers below the base of the leaves are tiny, as is its fruit. Also, its wood is much less hard and of spongy appearance.
The olash is sometimes used as an ornamental plant by the Fyros.
