Bulrush

Perennial herbaceous plant living in aquatic or wet environments, its stem is straight and flexible.

It bears a red spindle-shaped spikelet that contains the seeds.

Used by Trykers in diet and basketry, the bulrush is also essential in the brewing of some byrhi[1].

  1. Thus Trykers refer to lake beers in their language (Tyll).
