A bird of prey with indented wings and a fluttering flight. The eyeless javing bird hunts for food relying partly on its sense of smell, but most of all on echo-location. It produces high pitched sound waves which after striking obstacles echo back, enabling the bird to navigate with precision. Javings are equipped with a long black glistening barbed tongue which it uses to spear its prey. Evolves in the jungle and forest regions.[1]
