Patch 1.6.1 released on October 14th, 2009 as a hot fix to bugs that arose because of patch 1.6.0.

This patch fixes a number of small and bothering issues reported by players namely:

  • Print Screen key doesn't "work". If you want to take a screenshot, you can use the Ryzom shortcuts that will save the screenshot in the Ryzom directory (C:\Program Files\Ryzom by default)
    • CTRL+F10 will save a screenshot in JPEG format
    • ALT+F10 will save a screenshot in PNG format
    • SHIFT+F10 will save a screenshot in TGA format
  • If you press SHIFT+ALT, it'll switch to the different keyboard layouts you have installed. It's the default Windows behavior and will give the possibility for some foreign countries to write in their own language.
  • Fixed the wrong icons (the cross) on the old mail/forum interface
  • Fixed the bug that hides the UI when pressing the numpad 0 key to see behind you
  • ALT-F4 now display the exit windows instead of instantly closing Ryzom
  • Right clicking to open the popup menu, and then pressing SHIFT or CTRL to move all or on item in the inventory doesn't close the popup menu anymore
  • Improve stats bars to be more readable
  • Added the possibility to assign SHIFT, CTRL and ALT to an action
  • Added a button to minimize/restore the web page (small triangle on top left window)
  • Change the reticle to make it better when digging
  • Fixed the missing separator in the inventory page in icon mode
  • Fixed the top and bottom borders of [friend] and [ignore] buttons on chat window
  • On the login page, fixed the password "*****" top cutoff
  • In German, fixed a text that was too long and made a button be out of the screen when you looted a mob
