A white coat covered the Kwai city. A freezing wind rushed into the illuminated but deserted alleys. Only the guards were at their posts, each one more refrigerated than the next, some even fearing that the cold would crack their graceful masks.
The watchers at the east entrance were watching the horizon with some apprehension.
"Toub*! I'm freezing my ass off here! This cold will eventually break my bones..... «
"Don't tell me about it, we should have listened to the predictions of the wise Season... Come on, I'll get some wood for the fire. Be careful, with this marauding teleporter not far away, I'm never serene at this post.... «
As soon as he got away, his colleague collapsed on a pile of snow, knocked out by a delicate silhouette, which headed towards the District of West Hollow, picked a lock and stealthily entered an apartment.
The Kwai's lair had changed little in recent months.
The same pungent decomposition odors, the same traces of dried blood on the floor and walls. And still empty broken syringes, which littered the ground all over the place.
Sitting in the middle of the room, next to a burning torch,Ki'yumé sharpened his sword while humming an air.
The hooded silhouette devised it for long minutes before emitting a sound.
"I have... I need you to help me. »
Surprised, the Zorai stopped his activity and slowly turned his head. He smiled when his dark eyes saw the face of the Matis.
"Ah.... That charming voice sounded familiar... You know that, though...Rory... I hate to repeat myself over and over again..... I already told you that! [Kiriga]] is no more. He perished in my womb, as weak and miserable as he was. »
She took off her hood and approached a few steps, her gaze seemed to pierce the soul of the Kwai.
"I know well... I'm not here for nothing, it's[Ki'yumé] that I need.
Ma-Duk betrayed us.... Jena betrayed me... These miserable deities manipulate nations under the guise of their promises and gifts. But they're not gods, no, they're just pathetic impostors. The Marauders have proved it a thousand times by performing exploits without submitting to his fucking gods.
The Marauders are a free people! They are masters of their own destiny and no one will ever take control of it! I believe in their cause, but I need allies to form a clan. I knew how to trust him, so I'll learn to trust you. Then help me[Ki'yumé]. »
The Zoraĩ laughed sarcastically as he got up. He picked up one of his syringes containing a blackish mixture and stared at his guest's eyes.
"Beautiful speech[Rory]]. Freedom, destiny... of pretty words... But do you really believe in these words? Are you really who you think you are? I can help you.... The trust you're talking about.... Let's test it now! And I will support you in this glorious future. "A demonic laughter reasoned in the stinking den.
Matis' eyes were successively juggling between the mutilated mask of the Kwai, the splashes of dried blood and the syringes scattered all around her.
She reached out her whitish arm to the homin and whispered a few words before clenching her teeth:
"Go ahead... Hurry up."
With a gentle and affectionate gesture, he placed the needle on a breathless vein in his arm, so generously extended. A vile grin appeared on his mask, which was shrivelled from all sides.
"Still brave, sweetheart, huh? Come on, welcome to my world...... Haha"
The amber tip penetrated the epidermis and the livid liquid slowly poured into the body of the graceful homin.
When the dose was injected,Ki'yumé removed the needle and threw it into a corner. Blood was spilled and mixed with the traces already scattered on the floor.
Like the roots of a tree unfolding in the ground, the poison spread frantically through its veins. In barely a minute, her usually pale complexion darkened, then the whites of her eyes turned black, she fell to her knees clutching her head, taken with intense convulsions.
Ki'yumé knelt down and whispered in his ear:
"Let yourself go, princess. Go through this moment and if you survive.... Hey, hey... You will experience a well-being that even in your most fabulous dreams, you would never have imagined... »
She moaned like never before, her body was in such a trance that it looked like a disjointed puppet. An hour later, she woke up slumped on a futon. Back to her, the Kwai had taken his place and sharpened his sword again by humming the same air as when he arrived.
She straightened up despite the fact that her head was pounding her like never before. Her complexion had regained its whiteness.
"It's... It's unbelievable. I am so calmed, so calmed... What did you do?! »
Ki'yumé smiled.
"You just tasted Black Sap. In addition to being very stimulating and euphoric, this mixture completely uninhibits and frees the mind from any hindrance. The host reveals his true nature in this way. Well... the product is very toxic. I don't think you'd like to know its composition..... To be honest, I have tested it on a good number of guinea pigs and few have survived... Hello."
He stared at the Matis, while letting out a cynical laugh.
"You almost got yourself killed, sweetheart. Now, tell me, do your words from earlier still have the same values in your eyes? »
She clenched her fists and looked at him with a more than mischievous look.
"More than ever! »
Ki'yumé nodded.
"Come on, form your clan! I'll follow you until death takes hold of one of us! »
Here are the basic rules that will allow the guild to evolve effectively in a good mood. To join the Black Sap Clan is to submit to these rules.
Life in Guild
- "Communication": If we play this game, it is above all with the aim of having fun. And to be able to do it in a good mood, a few simple rules of communication are required: Be polite and courteous in all circumstances and write legibly. If tensions or concerns arise, the officers are there to try to solve the problems. Remember: communication is the basis of living together.
- "Mutual aid": It is true that each player is free to define his activities as he sees fit during his connection time. Besides that, it is essential to remember that making the choice to be part of a guild is making the choice to play with your guild! It is therefore essential that all members can help and support each other if someone requests it. This applies to hunting, stalking, drilling, crafts, street PvP and OP wars. It is by being united and close that the guild will go far. Remember that mutual aid is for the good of the community and will therefore always have a positive impact on the guild. For example, by responding en bloc to the aggression of one of our members by another player, we convey several strong messages:
-To the member: Being part of our guild, felt supported and protected at all times. -To the aggressor: To attack a Black Sap is to attack all Black Saps, and therefore to suffer the consequences.
- "Trade and resources": If the exchange of services or resources is allowed, it is strictly forbidden to make a profit on the back of one of the guild members. Any exchange of materials or objects must be in the direction of mutual assistance only! Then, each loot of kings, named or unique must be stored in the guild hall. It is important to be aware that the resources stored by the guild belong to the entire guild! No one should have control over the fruit of the work of several players. If you need a weapon or materials, don't hesitate.
- "The surrounding channel": This channel is the only PR channel in the game. In that, it must ONLY be used to do PR! It is therefore strictly forbidden to use acronyms (lol, MDR, PK?), to talk about HRP things, but also to make emotes that have no PR meaning or go against the image of the guild (ex: An extremist Karavanier who "claps his hands" to a Kamist because he really likes the player behind).
- "Public channels" (Universe, region, faction): It is not forbidden to speak on public channels. On the other hand, their uses are subject to strict rules! When a player speaks on a public channel, he always unintentionally involves players sharing his coat of arms. It is important to have a dialogue with this notion in mind. In this respect, provocation, flame and untimely flooding are strictly prohibited! You can chat there to talk calmly with other players or to advise certain people. - "Private channels" (Guild, team, league): Apart from the rules of propriety seen at the beginning (Politeness, courtesy, readability), these channels are not subject to any other restrictions. We will simply try to avoid doing PR there, the surrounding channel being the only PR channel in the game. Please note that even if our guild is PR, the members who make it up are not necessarily RP. Having to PR on the guild channel, in addition to being inconsistent, is risking putting some people aside.
- Although the tag is not a visible PR element for homins, it is still the easiest tool to use to do PR. It makes your avatar attackable, giving him the opportunity to defend his values against nationalists and religious people. In this case, the wearing of the tag is mandatory! If this can frighten many, see the paragraph on mutual aid: If a Black Sap is attacked, the whole clan must come as soon as possible to help it.
Since PvP is our main PR tool, a few basic rules are required: - It is forbidden to attack a player marked as "afk". Beyond playing against someone, we play with someone. If the person is not in front of his screen, how to play with it? - When an opponent resurfaces at a TP or wormhole, it is prohibited to prevent him from regenerating and killing him directly. - It is better to avoid attacking the same player in a short period of time, so that he does not feel harassed. - It is better to warn the victim when you are going to attack him (one / die is enough), whether hunting, drilling, or even practicing his craft. Atys is a dangerous world in the grip of multiple conflicts, no homin should believe they are safe.
- As Marauders, mutual aid with Karavaniers, Kamists and nationalists is strictly prohibited. This concerns hunting, stalking, drilling, trade, care (except due to a mob sweater), etc...
- As Marauders, our objective is to rid Atys of indoctrinated believers and corrupt nationalists. We must be there to help the other Marauders carrying out this mission. The Outposts being strategically very important and giving the owner great advantages, they have a particular importance for us.
Our guild is composed of several ranks granting players, but also their avatars, more or less authority and responsibility. Even if we are playing a game, it is important that new recruits know how to obey instructions, but also that ranks know how to give them!
That's the only way we'll be able to be effective. Decisions are made by all guild members with enough seniority to know what they are talking about. Since ranks are not given at random, the opinion of superiors will inevitably become more and more important.
Here is now the hierarchy seen from a role play point of view:
The Clan Leader: As the highest authority, the Leader has the right to life and death over each marauder in his clan. Known for his outstanding leadership skills and incredible charisma, he inspires respect and fear in all.
The Instigators: The Instigators are the Chief's most loyal acolytes. Considered as the four pillars of the clan, they have repeatedly demonstrated the indispensable nature of their presence. Fearful and respected by all, they do not hesitate to get rid of the weak when they deem it necessary.
Sedias: Sedias are responsible for monitoring the mass of soldiers and enforcing superior orders. Although they do not have the authority to make decisions, their judgment is always very important. The Chief of the Clan has great confidence in them.
Black Saps: Black saps are the marauders who have managed to survive the initiation rite. The poison that now flows through their veins has increased their anger and sharpness as fighters. Considered as mere pawns by their superiors, Black Sèves can nevertheless succeed in gaining rank based on their exploits. Everyone starts at the bottom, even the tallest...
