Two patches, 53 and 55 respectively, were released Thursday, March 10th, 2005.

Patch 53

Patch notes can be read here.

New

PvP

  • It is possible, in the arena only, to heal a player from an opposing team with an AoE heal. In that case, everybody around your target will be healed.

Quests

  • A failed mission will now be displayed with a red cross. A green cross is displayed if you succeed.
  • The mission window displays requisites. The green ones are the ones fulfilled by the player, the whites one are the one not fulfilled by the player but optional, the reds one are the one not fulfilled by the players and that prevent the player from taking the mission.

Mektoubs

  • You can buy new Mektoub packers, that are as fast as Mektoub mounts at the stable boys.
  • You can feed your mektoub instantaneously and for less money at stables.

Interface

  • The current in game time has been added near the weather and the season on top of the map (press M to display the map).

Bug Fixes

Miscellaneous

. You can use the following characters in the region chat / " ; . Some Karavan officers are now more easily noticeable as they have new outfits. Some Karavan and Kami NPC fight as good as City Guards. . Quitting the game with [ALT][F4] saves your keys and interface layout. . The message stating weather you gained or lost fame has been changed to make clear if it was a direct modification or a propagation. The /afk command is temporarily removed and will come back ASAP.

Combat

  • The parry/dodge modifiers are now correctly computed, they had a faulty multiplier.
  • The max distance from which a player is able to see a cast or a range attack has been increased. There should not be any invisible range attack anymore.

Mektoubs

  • Players could have been seen as inside their Mektoub PRIOR to mounting it.
  • Mektoubs have no Stamina. The corresponding gauge has been removed. However, the Hunger gauge has been added to the little info window.
  • Mektoub can not be ordered to go into a stable whilst being ridden. If you order the Mektoub to go into the stable while mounting it, the action will break and the mount will go.
  • Mektoub will not have 'hick up' animation anymore when a player mounts it.
  • It is not possible anymore to mount on a Mektoub whilst using a TP ticket.

Trading

  • Filters used at merchants do not apply and are not there anymore when not needed, like when buying a TP ticket. This may have given some players a lack of visibility to some info on what NPC was offering. What you can get from NPC should be clearer. This issue will be fixed at Cosmetic NPCs soon.
  • You can not sell hay anymore. This item is no more displayed in the merchant interface. Matis stable boys don't sell Matis items anymore.
  • Stable boys and tools merchants can sell players' items too.
  • Items prices are now correctly displayed with fame taken into account. They were displayed without taking the fame into account, that could have led to the player getting less money than what was expecting.
  • Trading between players was not possible when the amount of items being exchanged was more than half of one of the players' inventory, even if there was enough place in both inventories.

Harvesting

  • No object should prevent a forager to clearly seeing the dedicated window. Neither Kitins nor vegetation should obstruct it anymore.

Interface

  • The System Info window now displays the correct amount of looted items.
  • The loot window title is displayed correctly
  • By zooming at the max level on your map, you can read streets name in each city.
  • The friend/enemy selection is back to normal, with [SPACE] and [CTRL][SPACE]
  • All info gauges (HP, Sap ...) are now synchronized.
  • Neutral players are now considered as friends, and this is the way the "in scene" configuration deals with them (displaying HP and Sap and focus gauges if configured so).
  • You should not see any empty tell windows popping randomly.
  • Weight and bulk is displayed for hay and quest items.
  • The 'wake' button, that allows a player to take over some stalled missions, will not appear at the end of each mission anymore, except for the 'make a team' mission in refugee island.

Cosmetics

  • The 3D view is now displayed all the time.
  • The faulty indication of weight and bulk have been removed from the Cosmetic interface.

PvP

  • You can now leave a PvP area and enter another one without waiting for the timer to reset.
  • Leaving a team in a PvP area won't make you leave your PvP status.

Crafting

  • The SP cost for the burning buckler for Fyros has been updated, to be at the same price than the other civilizations' one.

Graphics

  • Some players may have had some problems displaying water surfaces at a shape angle.

Patch 55

Patch notes can be read here.

Bug Fixes

  • The new mektoubs names were lacking. This is fixed, you can now know which kind of mek you are buying.
