• Architects are responsible for the maintenance and renewal of housing constituting the Matis cities. These are indeed living trees, specially selected and maintained to accommodate individual apartments, or guild halls.

• Organic architecture also relates to the interior of habitable rooms, since the furniture is in fact a living part of the tree-dwelling.
