Resinous tree with long needle-like leaves grouped in bundles and whose fruiting bodies are cones made of scales the axils of which bear the seeds. Mid-sized tree of bipodial growth, the peculiar morphology of its gracefully intertwined trunks has inspired many Matis poets.
The bark is used as mulch in horticulture. The buds are used to produce a medicinal syrup. The wood is used as timber and to build some posts and barriers. The alinea produces a sticky resin used to make varnish.
It is also found in the Jungle in tight rows on the areas of goo, reaching impressive heights, but this marvel remains unexplained by the homins.
