The elusive Ysquanir, sometimes abbreviated Ysq, is a creature of such might and power that few has been able to get to it's eyes before. Ysquanir lurks near the Ma-Duk tree in Zora, awaiting an opponent worthy of its eyes. It is a frightening sight to new residents of the city indeed.

The mighty Ysq can sometimes be seen parading through the other regions brandishing a massive Candy Cane, whilst wearing nothing but its invaluable skin.

The elusive Ysq's ultimate weakness is Anime, a kind of creature from the far eastern regions of Atys, where few has gone before and fewer has returned. The Anime has the ability to enthrall Ysq so that he is powerless while his eyes are extracted with blunt butter knives. It might be due to this weakness why he has decided to live in Zora and not in the Dark Regions of the East.

This creature when slain with great difficulty drops various resources, the most prized of these are its eyes, skin, candy and diphenylthiophosphinochloridic acid.
