The Merge

In 2012 it was decided to shut down the existing language based shards (servers) Aniro (French), Arispotle (English) and Leanon (Geman) and replace them by a single one : Atys. The merge (the fusion) happened in september 2012, with an extension to 5 official languages, adding Spanish and Russian .
Due to the relative independance of the previous servers, the team had to deal with different in-game times and Lores.
- In-game time : The old games stopped in 2562 and the new one began in 2570
- Lore aspects: the lore parts which were consecutive of server events were (are) kept unchanged. An “explanation” Event: The river of time was organized to set a common Lore background.
- Wiki: There were also 3 independant wikis, which were private initiatives : ?xxxxx? (geman) Ryzomnomnom (English) and EncyclopAtys (French).
