Xan Abygrian

Aaah . . . the Revealers. I have studied this great organisation. Its members are constantly looking for the most talented Fyros warriors. When they find them, they are tested on their strength and courage. When they pass, they are rewarded . . . in exchange for their silence.
Hmmm . . . people say that this organisation has disappeared. I am convinced otherwise. In fact, it is rumoured that one of its members lives right here in Pyr! I see that you are gifted in combat, perhaps you could and take these tests?
But I have no idea who he is . . . and then you also have to prove that you have the necessary skills. Why don't you begin by killing a few Baying Goaris which you can find right here in the Imperial Dunes, west of the city. Meanwhile, I will be doing some more research on this member . . .

You kill the Baying Goari and return to the city to talk to Xan Abygrian

Xan Abygrian

You have returned . . . and you have succeeded. I haven't found out who the members of this organisation are, but I found somebody who knows more than I do. He refuses to talk to me, however. Maybe you can try in my place? His name is Icakos Ibiraan, he lives in Pyr.

You find Icakos Ibiraan in the city

Icakos Ibiraan

The Revealers of Heroes, eh? Yes, I know a lot about them. But first you will have to show me that you are capable. Go to the north of Oflovak's Oasis and kill more Scary Cloppers. Then we will see if you are worth my trouble!

You kill the required number of Scary Cloppers and return to Pyr to talk to Icakos Ibiraan

Icakos Ibiraan

You're strong, anyway. I like that. I'll tell you what I know about the Revealers.
This organisation was first created by Leanon, sister of Cerakos II - the father of our Emperor Dexton. Leanon wanted young talent to have access to the best education, rather than to have them fend for themselves, or worse, being taught by incompetent instructors. But this education would have to remain a secret, as many would take advantage if the names of these warriors were known. Thus, the Revealers of Heroes was born.
After Leanon died, the organisation had nobody to lead it, and their numbers declined slowly. Nobody really knows how they fare today, but it is very possible that there are some isolated people here and there, working in shadows, continuing the memory of the organisation.

You go back to talk to Xan Abygrian

Xan Abygrian

I see . . . that's very interesting, [your name]. We should continue our investigation.

He gives you x150 q100 Experience Catalysers

I have found additional information about what you have told me, [your name]. It seems the organisation uses a message system to communicate, messages they buried in sawdust somewhere. Unfortunately, I have no idea where it is. Perhaps Icakos Ibiraan knows it?

You go back to talk to Icakos Ibiraan

Icakos Ibiraan

Messages? I don't know anything about any messages, but I think Deion Boethus has done research on this. Deion Boethus? She should be in Pyr at this moment.

You find Deion Boethus in the city

Deion Boethus

The Revealers' messages . . . well, I do know something about those, but . . .
Information has a price! A befriended craftsman recently asked me to bring him some Gluttonous Arma Fat. I haven't gotten around to doing it yet. If you do this for me I will tell you everything I know. The Gluttonous Armas are in the middle of Oflovak's Oasis.
Be careful, I do not need much fat, but the Gluttonous Armas are quite strong. If you have any trouble defeating them, you should ask a friend to help you.

You get the Arma fat and bring it to Deion Boethus in Pyr

Deion Boethus

Good, one less thing for me to do. So, the location of the messages . . . In Oflovak's Oasis, north of the Water Breakers camp . . . an area of dust in the grass.

You go back to talk to Xan Abygrian

Xan Abygrian

So you have found where the messages are? Very interesting. I think you should go there, [your name]. Who knows, if the organisation still exists, they may still use it . . .

You go to the place near the Water Breakers camp and find a patch of dust in the grass

<Screen Message> You find a message hidden in the dust. It reads . . . [your name], it appears you managed to find this message. I congratulate you. Come back and see me so I can welcome you as a new hope for the organisation. Xan Abygrian

You return to Pyr to talk to Xan Abygrian

Xan Abygrian

Ah . . . so you found the message. Surprised? I am Xan Abygrian, one of the last members of the Revealers of Heroes. You are worthy to take our tests, [your name]. Please accept these few dappers as a welcome gift . . . and as encouragement for what is to come!

He gives you some Dappers

You have passed the test, and I will now give you more tests you have to pass. Here are the rules . . .
Each test consists of two steps. You must return to me after each step and I will explain the next.
You may ask for help at any time. We are always willing to assist, to make things a little easier.
If you fail during any step, you can try again, as many times as you need.
The first test is a test of speed. For this test, go to the Water Breakers camp and kill three of any of these; Wary Arma, Wary Bodoc, Hungry Igara, Wary Rendor, Malicious Clopper, Malicious Goari, Strong Kipee, Strong Kizoar or Blooming Shooki. If you fail, return to the Water Breakers camp and try again.

You go to the Water Beakers camp and kill three of the specified creatures

You return to Pyr to talk to Xan Abygrian

Xan Abygrian

You have successfully completed the first step. Now, on to the second. You must learn not only of combat, but also of travelling. Go to the Flame of Honour, the Flame of Discipline and the Flame of Truth in Imperial Dunes. You must do this in less than 10 minutes, starting now. Come see me if you should fail.

You visit the three Flames within 10 minutes and return to speak to Xan Abygrian

Xan Abygrian

You have passed the test of speed. Here is a reward for your success.

He gives you a Fyros Ring and Diadem

The next test is the test of courage. You will have to explore extremely dangerous parts, among wildlife that can crush you beneath their feet easily. For the first step, you must locate a powerful creature - without resorting to fighting.
For you, it will be . . . Outlaw Canyon. And you should see a Creeping Frahar there. Of course you can bring companions, but I think it will be much more . . . interesting on your own.

You go to Outlaw Canyon and target a Creeping Frahar, then return to Pyr to talk to Xan Abygrian

Xan Abygrian

Excellent, you have succeeded. Now, for the second stage. For this you will have to attack a solitary, but powerful creature; a Savage Frahar . . . they can be found in Frahar Towers. It will be difficult, [your name], even for you. The Savage Frahars are very dangerous creatures. I bid you to be careful, wise . . . or to bring companions.

You go to Frahar Towers and kill a Savage Frahar, then return to Pyr to talk to Xan Abygrian

Xan Abygrian

You're back, and you have succeeded. You have passed the test of courage, and you have earned this reward. The next test will be more difficult, however.

He gives you x10 q100 Constitution Flowers

If none of your fight skills is above 90, he tells you this;

You have to train some more before taking the third test.

You train your fight skills and return to talk to Xan Abygrian

Xan Abygrian

For the final test, the test of communication, you have to return to Frahar Towers and find the Frahar Hunters tribe. In addition to protecting the area by monitoring the Frahars, they give special training, to those who wish, and give them a badge if they pass. Find the officer of the Frahar Hunters, and don't return until you get the badge.

You go to the camp of the Frahar Hunters and talk to the Tribe Outpost Officer, Lybus Deps

Lybus Deps

Eh . . . you have come to . . . train?
Hey guys, look who thinks he is strong enough to follow our training!
No, really, what are you thinking? We do not need a weakling like you. Ah well, if you really want to train . . . you can start by showing us that you know how to fight. Then we will see what we will do for you!

You kill some Savage Frahars and return to talk to Lybus Deps

Lybus Deps

Well . . . it seems you didn't do too badly. Do you still want to follow our training? But you don't stand a chance against the toughest Frahars. Let's see, what else do I have for you?
This will do, I suppose . . . go to Oflovak's Oasis and kill ten Vicious Kipees. But I am not sure that will be enough to accept you. I will have a little talk with the others to decide . . .

You kill ten Vicious Kipees in Oflovak's Oasis and return to talk to Lybus Deps

Lybus Deps

Good . . . you have succeeded. But unfortunately it is not enough. We have decided that we cannot accept warriors below a certain level, and we cannot make an exception for you. All I can do now is give you this Badge of Honour, which shows that you have helped our tribe.

She gives you the Badge of Honour

You return to Pyr to talk to Xan Abygrian, and show him the Badge

Xan Abygrian

Ah . . . I see. They don't think you're strong enough for them, right?
That's as it should be, actually. The test was this; Acknowledge that you are inferior to them in combat, and accept the tasks they gave you, in the hope of one day reaching their level. And you were not discouraged or upset by this. You have successfully completed the first step!
There is now only one step remaining.

If none of your fight skills is above 100, he tells you this;

You should train a bit more before starting the final step.

He gives you Q120 Kostomus Pants

You train your fight skills and return to talk to Xan Abygrian

Xan Abygrian

You will not have a lot of information for this last step. Look for a homin by the name of Thecaon Eubus in the city. She has a ring. Bring me the ring and you will have completed the test. Please not that you may not buy the ring or use violence or theft to obtain it.

Your mission journal suggests you ask 'someone who knows a lot of people' for help finding Thecaon Eubus

You talk to the Barman, Lydix Deps

Lydix Deps

Thecaon Eubus? An unassuming homin indeed. But she came here recently . . . with a friend . . . a friend called Debus Boethus, if I remember correctly. But this friend was travelling. She said that she would return to Dyron soon. So I guess you will find her there . . .

You go to Dyron to talk to Debus Boethus

Debus Boethus

Thecaon Eubus? Yes, I know her well. But calling her friend would be too much. You need something of her? Her ring? I see. She will not give it up easily, I'm sure. I do know she has a weakness for exotic drinks, however. Maybe a barman could help you with that . . .

You return to Pyr to talk to the barman

Lydix Deps

A drink? An exotic one? I guess I can make you one. But in return you can do me a small favour. Find me 12 Fragments of Basic Igara Wing and I will make you your drink! You can find Mocking Igara along the road in the north of Frahar Towers.

You go to the north of Frahar Towers and get the fragments of Igara Wing, then return to Pyr to talk to the barman

You give him the Igara Wing fragments

Lydix Deps

Ah, perfect. Now wait while I make it . . .
And now it's ready!

He gives you a bottle

You find Thecaon Eubus in the city and give her the drink

Thecaon Eubus

What's this? Is this for me?
Oh . . . delicious! How nice of you!
You need my ring for a test? Here, take it, it's not worth much anyway . . .

You go to talk to Xan Abygrian and give him the ring

Xan Abygrian

So you have passed the test. I do not know how things will end for you, but you are definitely of hero calibre. Tell me, do you use melee weapons or ranged weapons?

You make your choice

Good. Return to the place where we leave our messages . . . there is a surprise for you there.

You go to the patch of sand in the grass near the camp of the Water Breakers and there you find a Retch Axe, or the q110 Fraser Autolauncher, depending on your choice.

The mission is finished.

Thanks to Jack for the info about the autolauncher.
