Said of a homin who is a non-player character (or NPC), and who gives missions whose sole gain is to increase your fame with a tribe - other fames will also be modified, but to a lesser extent.
In general, they are not easily identifiable and move around the region.
In other terms (OOC) :
- even if a tribe doesn't like you (your fame with them is negative, even lower than -65), you can take a mission from these NPCs as soon as your level in the required branch (B) exceeds that of the zone (some missions also have a timer).
- In-game, you can see their name and role (Hunter, ...) but no tribe or guild name.
- Some are fixed (same location all year round), while others may have 6 different locations on BM, depending on the season. But BM doesn't indicate the affiliated tribe or when an NPC will be there or not.
An example : Ki Bai-Fuang, a walking Zorai craftswoman (in Scorched Corridor).
- Armory don't know about her, BM indicates for its name two places (but not its affiliation to the Watchers). Only the wiki lists her as affiliated with Watchers.
- So, even if Watchers hate you (your watchers's fame is under -65) you can take on a mission with her as soon as your crafting level exceeds 200 (some missions also have a timer of around 25 minutes).
- You'll earn fame with the affiliated tribe (here with the Watchers) but no dappers. You'll also gain/lose, but in lesser proportion to country and faction renown (kami/kara).
- By comparison, the missions offered by Ibiion Mekops (Host of the Watchers Tribe) require a level 200 and a fame with the Watchers of at least -65. At -65, the Watchers' guards attack you. And if your renown with them is -70, only affiliates will agree to give you missions - no tribesman at camp will (and BM can't help you here).
