(Redirected from Commandments of Jena)
First public reading in JY 2527, AC 3, Summer, then displayed at the temples of Jena.
As a reference, here are the Ten Commandments of Our Mother Jena, as originally revealed to King Zachini, and later to the people gathered by Lady Miana Sinia, leader of the Guild of Karavia, by order of His Majesty King Yrkanis, which were handed down by the holy Karavan:
- I, Jena, am your goddess, the creative mother, you were made after my image. Love your goddess as you love yourselves.
- You shall worship no other gods.
- Teach your children my love as I give you mine.
- You shall honour my disciples, they are the heralds of my law, and are sent to protect your welfare.
- You shall not descend into the bowels of Atys, lest the holy Light leave your heart and the darkness of the Dragon devour your soul.
- As the leaf of a tree falls to the ground that gives strength to live, your soul shall be remembered to me when you die. According to the strength of your faith you will be reborn with my blessing or you will rot in [excruciating torment].
- Announce my coming and my love will grow in your hearts.
- Do not take the law into your own hands, lest you fall into sin on the day of judgment.
- Seek to join my kingdom and I will meet you halfway.
- Once you have proved the purity of your faith you will attain the joy of elevation and so become a trusted disciple.
