Teleporters are special devices created and governed my the two conflicting factions of Atys. Whether you are able to use a teleporter is dependent on your fame and alignment with either one of the factions. Each region of Atys has at least two teleporters; one belonging to the Kami and another belonging to the Karavan. Some regions, such as Cities of Intuition and Majestic Garden have a teleporter in each city and only a single teleporter for the opposing faction in the region.
Teleporter Pacts
Teleporter Pacts or TPs are tickets that can be bought at any faction altar. Teleporter pacts always cost 10000 and for higher level regions can only be bought if certain requirements are met. These requirements are generally just that you are aligned to the required faction and have more than a certain amount of fame with them.
Rules
Teleporter pacts have special rules for use, below is a summary of these:
- A pact cannot be used while sitting or swimming
- A character must remain motionless and not be under attack for the complete activation time of 15 seconds
- Kamists cannot use Karavan teleporter pacts and vice versa. The only exception to this rule are teleporter pacts for Almati Wood
- Pacts can be used while dead, if done so the character will respawn at the specified altar, similar to respawning normally
