There are many herbaceous plants that occur naturally in our forests, commonly referred to as grasses, lawns or meadows by the general public. Most of them spread by using their roots to cover a large area with small green leaves. In autumn, many of them produce small nuts that are used by our cooks to create cakes and breads. As soon as a grass exceeds a tiny size it is no longer considered as such by the homins.
