Description
- Botanists are the scientific elite of Matis. They are responsible for culture and maintenance of plants that are the focus of technology.

- Specializations
- Sculptor of life: The artists and sculptors, who are engaged in selection and growing certain plants for aesthetic purposes only. Their creations are called "living sculptures".
- Organic Architect: Architects are responsible for the maintenance and renewal of residential trees constituting the Matis cities.
- Botanist of war: Ancient texts report that botanists knew how to create "Ephemeral Plants" capable of supporting a warrior in combat. This however might be not more than a legend.
