There is no Ranger language per se, but the mixing of the four nations has led them to create common terms. In general, Rangers chat in their own language and often understand the languages of the different nations. Some of them are famous translators who travel the bark, offering their services in exchange for modest payments of barrels of beer (preferably Tryker) and cookies (preferably termite cookies).
On the other hand, constantly living on the lookout for Kitins and sneaking around under the bark to discreetly observe their way of life has led the Rangers to use many onomatopoeic expressions to be both stealthy and quick in the roots or in the wild.
The Rangers were strongly influenced by Matis culture, undoubtedly due to Almati, and so Mateis served as the phonetic basis for their language. The Ranger language is notable for being very concise, especially during missions. Words are short, most often monosyllabic.
Onomatopoeia is very frequently used for Rangers. It is not uncommon for their form to be lengthened for emphasis, for example kwkwwwww, or rhoooo, or even méyyyy (for but-yeeessSSSsss!)
