Description

Nexus is considered the heart of the new lands and is the only region of the Nexus Minor Island. As the name implies the Prime Roots regions of Atys intertwine there. As a result, some of them have portals leading to Nexus, which are the only way to enter Nexus (unless it be by teleporting into it). There are three such portals into Nexus which are accessible:

• To the North, by the Abyss of Ichor;
• To the West, by the Elusive Forest (Lands of Umbra);
• To the South, by the Sunken City (Wastelands).

Minor Nexus was unique in that it was the only surface area known to at certain locations harbor soruces of the highest quality of natural resources. Though those had seemed to provide a never-ending supply, yet the sources eventually disappeared, probably depleted. But then came the recent barkshakes, which brought the sources back to life. For this reason, serious dispute even involving the higher powers of Atys has arisen between the four nations who make territorial claims to various locations there and insist on being granted mining rights there .
