- Somewhat homogeneous in terms of mineral resources, fauna, flora and the tribes that occupy it, the regions are the smallest geographical subdivisions on Atys. However, some regions may have several different ecosystems or their main ecosystem may not be that of the subcontinent to which they belong. Examples include the de Grove of Confusion, the Hidden Source or the Knot of Dementia.
