Or why you can't dig 100 mats in a 100 region with a level 50 pick[1].
With the exception of "Refugee Tools" (q1, from Silan).
- In order to harvest mats over Level 50, you need to have the skill level and the pick appropriate for that level.
- Pick and tools may be bought from the Tool Merchant with dappers or with faction points, or crafted at Level 50, 100, 150, 200 and 250...
- a level 100 pick / tool allow you to dig up to level 100 mats and craft up to level 100 crafts.

- Nation pikes: to buy with your faction points[2].
- spoiler by exchanging nation picks, you can earn a Faction Pick with +250 focus and +125 HP (in this example, Zorai).
- with Outpost Produce:
- Greslin picks give a 5% chance of prospecting a node which cannot explode or gas.
- Egiros picks give a 5% chance per action of increase the number of materials dug. As such, they are in high demand.
- Patch 00945 from 2023/02/26 announces the return of the kara/kami picks.
