From EncyclopAtys
Once upon a time, there were homins who lived on Atys. They lived a very good life in their view. But the spirit of Atysmas was not of this opinion and was very dissatisfied with their conduct which he considered not well-behaved at all.
So he said to himself:
"I will give a gift to the homins who have not behaved well. And this gift will be a punishment.
He had ideas for gifts for everyone.
"For the Fyros, I give them a gift by taking away their merchants."
"The Trykers will be punished and will no longer taste their byrh."
"The Zorai will feel silly not having their electric shield anymore."
"And the Matis will no longer be able to round out their purse with Valentina's rewards."
And he made good on his threat.
For the next year, the homins were baffled, wondering what they had done to deserve such a gift.
They held a great assembly and talked for a long time. It seemed to them that their conduct was irreproachable. To behave like a Marauds was of no importance to them.
But what Atysmas' spirit had taken away from them was missed and decided to give up their misbehaviours like attacking the homins without reason.
The spirit of Atysmas saw the efforts the homins were making to regain the pleasures that embellished their lives.
So he gave back the merchants to the Fyros, the byrh to the Trykers, the electric shield to the Zoraï and the florist trade to the Matis.
