Be'Marrell Gedden, Fairhaven. | Aetheus Cegrips, Pyr | Girgia Cisti, Yrkanis. | Cai-Ci Du, Zora |
Each Village also has its sage, but the missions they offer are not significantly different from those offered by the other characters.
The first task of the sages of the capitals is to inform the homins about the Encyclopedia[1] and the Amber Cubes. This information will form the first cube, the first page of each homin's Encyclopedia.
Each cube requires the completion of 3 or 4 ordinary missions as a prerequisite to passing a final rite. Completion of this rite is rewarded with a small additional character ability.
Each of the four sages of the capitals then offers a quest for Homins arriving on the continent from Silan. They follow the missions proposed by the Hosts of the Capitals and accompany the character to level 100 in combat (and/or offensive magic?). Completion of each of these is rewarded with good quality heavy armour elements, a melee or shooting weapon, and lesser ‘gifts’.
These quests are long. The last step reached is memorised, so that if the quest is accidentally abandoned, it can always be resumed by returning and talking to the sage who gave it.
