Giant blue kipestas would have, by their emphatized communication abilities, a role of ambassadors between different kitin colonies."

Comment of the Master-at-Arms

It is the fastest of the kitins don't forget it. Its fire blast will become a problem without protection from your jewels set. Fortunately, it's quite fragile, but be very careful: you can sometimes find kipestas of Prime Roots on the surface. If they don't look any different at first glance, you'll soon realize they have twice the expected vitality and resist the cold! This is the case of the kipestas of the Grove of Umbra as well as others to the East of the Sawdust Mines.

Knowledge of the kipesta

Two tribes hold a caged kipesta, the Masters of the Goo and the Chlorogoos detachment on Silan. It is assumed that the kipesta reacts strongly to an overdose of goo. So it would be a living alarm for nearby homins.
The entrance to the kitins' lair of Almati Wood is guarded by virulent kipesta patrols.
Three specimens of blue kipesta have been seen in the Queen's Chamber. A few days later they reached the kitin outposts of the New Lands.
