Each of the four capital city hosts offers a set of eight missions for newcomers to the continent from Silan, in addition to the essential mission "Arrival at the Capital". They allow inexperienced homins to become familiar with the environment of the subcontinent and to raise their skills around the fifth circle.
Each mission group consists of: 3 hunting missions, 2 crafting missions and 3 harvesting missions. In addition to minor rewards, they each provide a generic two-handed melee weapon plan[1] (Fairhaven: sword, Pyr: axe, Yrkanis: pike, and Zora: sledgehammer).

The Village Hosts play the same role as tourist guides in the capitals: they indicate where to find the village notables.

They can usefully be followed by Four Sages Quests which will accompany the character to level 100 in combat and are well rewarded.

The Missions:

Arrival in the Capital

Summary

Completing this mission is essential because it allows NPCs[2] to "know" that your character has arrived in the capital, and prevents him from being stranded on Silan in case he returns there before acquiring a teleportation pact from that capital.

The four Hosts welcome the Homins in the same way:
— in a first step the host sends the newcomer to the Tourist Guide who asks to:
— Visit the stable and the groomCategory: City welcomers' missions
— Visit one of the places where the merchants are located.
— Visit to one of the trainer's places.

Upon your return, the Welcomer gives two free teleportation pacts, one to the capital city you are visiting, the second to one of the powers embassies at the Silan ranger camp as well as information on their usage, and the other initiation missions of these same welcomers are then unlocked.

  1. The generic weapon plans can be used with crafting actions from any nation and use any ecosystem materials, making them particularly attractive to novice crafters, given the price of the plans.
  2. Non-Player Characters
