Since the period before the Great Swarm, few traces remain, despite the homins' desire to find their past. Since the Great Swarm, and the Exodus that expelled homins from Ancient Lands, many homins have focused on writing events that have taken place, such as the chronicler Erlan, so history never lacks Hominity.
The Chronicles of Atys attempts to reveal the history of Atys before the year 2525(FR).

Los cuatro pueblos homins, masacrados hace tres generaciones por ejércitos de insectos gigantes, los Kitins, están tratando de reconstruir su civilización. Este es el nuevo comienzo. Mientras tanto, el planeta vegetal es roído por el Goo, una misteriosa lepra violeta destructiva que continúa progresando irremediablemente.
Dos facciones rivales que dicen estar vigilando a Atys, los Kamis y la Karavan, ofrecen su ayuda.
