The Marauder Bosses

Lixie the Furious is one the 6 Marauders among the Bosses of Atys that players can challenge to obtain a Marauder armour, and one of the 4 that give Marauder heavy armour (the other 2 give light armour). Her heavy armour is Turquoise.

Best route there for ...

— Kami From Enchanted Isle TP, head Northwest, swim thru Bailey Lake and on to Lixie Camp

— Karavan Folks can use the Kara TP in Enchanted Isle at Bailey Lagoon and head northwest.

— Ranger Folks have are limited to Kami TP in Enchanted Isle.

— Mara folks can come from either Enchanted isle TP, or resting Water TP via portal and head NE.

Best, and most courteous way in to the camp is to walk, don't run, thru mines.... if ya slow and careful they don't blow. Id use INV anyway cause some n00b will just run thru with INV on and kill you. Try not to be them :)

Strategy

Guilds / teams assemble again just like Pei-Ziao:

— (1) Tank for Lixie who will begin engaging her right away (like Pei) so as to keep her off others. Again, we need damage so extra tanks really hurt our chances. We want to line up in north away from entrance mines and bombers.

— (xx) Everyone else lines up in a straight line similar to as wiith Pei in a star pattern Here it's a bit more critical that you kill fast as once bombers get out, we don't have much time before we wipe. So focus is less on heals and more on firepower. Highly recommended that you bring "Lixie jools". Many recipes work but these are 85% Fire Resistance (tho cap is 70%) and mats are plentiful since "Plod teams" are common.

EDIT: We have about 4 sets worth of Lixie Jools available.

If you are among the majority who use Lakes Jools for digging and Fyros for HP, than a Zorai / Matis set will help you find them in inventory easily.

E"EDIT: As a result of today's (2020-09-02) mishap, thought it worth explaining why we have been pulling Lixie a bit to the north the last few months.

a) As we are waiting for folks to travel longer distances, if Lixie is in the center of open area, as they arrive, if they run through the minefield especially with Invulnerability, the mines take out the rear of the team lines. Easy enough to rez, of course but wear and tear on the gear and not averyone has a GH stockpiled with top gear.

b) Also, when we are in the center, the bombers come at us pretty evenly, when we slip north a bit we gain a few extra and valuable seconds for us to kill Lixie before the Bombers take us out. Notice thet even with the smaller numbers we still were able to knock her out because we didnt see that many bombers up there.

c) So yes, we ant Lixie in the center, but we also want the center to be away from the above damage sources because it means less damage taken by all involved.
