The Kitins have managed to keep a number of nests despite the constant efforts of most homins. The most important of them is the Kitin's Lair in the Almati Wood. Four others remain permanently active.
Two are on the bark:
- The Tunnel of Woe at the Knoll of Dissent in Verdant Heights.
- Desertstock at the Knot of Dementia in Witherings.
Two are located in the Prime Roots:
- The Underwood Woe, in the Elusive Forest of the Lands of Umbra.
- The Demon's Lap, in the Forbidden Depths of the Wastelands, the most important and dangerous of all with the Almati Wood's Kitin's Lair.
They also regularly try to install others, especially on the surface. So far, Homins' vigilance, as well as an international alert system succeeded in preventing any new permanent installation until now.
Abandoned nests:
- Paramount Stock, at Void
- Withered Stock Grove of Umbra
