Before Silan

New players started in different Islands, depending on their Race : Matis island, Fyros island, Tryker island and Zoraï island -

An Island for all Refugees

Silan Island is the place where all new players in Ryzom start since 2006 ^[1].
From 18 May 2009 onwards a subscribed account is no longer needed to leave Silan.
Characters are able to come back to Silan since 2018; A tunnel has been dug in Grove of Confusion that leads to the kitin jungle in Silan ^[2].

Curiosity

It appears as if the old Matis island and Silan share their shape somehow.
