The Matisian Border Guards are a tribe operating in Knoll of Dissent. They are charged with keeping the peace in this region bordering the Majestic Garden, and although not hostile they are distrustful to all races, even other Matis. They are constantly at war with the First Deserters, another tribe of Matis operating in the same region. Being a branch of the Matisian army, the Matisian Border Guards ofcourse follow the Karavan.
