The Darkening Sap are a fanatic tribe of Matis studying the Goo, and the only tribe to do this outside of the Witherings. They reside in Heretics Hovel and remain followers of the Karavan and allies to the Matis nation despite their dubious research. Like all tribes studying the Goo, they are considered enemies by the Zoraï government.
