The WIP (for Work In Process) category contains articles that are being written and that display the {{WIP}} banner at the top indicating that the author should be allowed to finish his work. If for any reason (e.g. presence time in the abnormally long category) you wish to override it, it is always a good idea, before starting to modify the article concerned, to contact the person who has affixed the banner {{WIP}}.
The TIP category contains articles that are being translated or proofread/revisioned before translation and that display the banner{{TIP}} at the top.
