From EncyclopAtys
Contents
There are Armour, Raw Materials, Weapons, Jewellery, Hawkers, Consumables, Stable boys and several other types of merchants throughout Atys. All of them will buy your goods. However, what is sold in one country is not available to purchase in another. For example, a sword put up for sale in Pyr (Desert) is not available for players to purchase in Yrkanis (Forest). While traveling, you may wish to purchase new armour or replace a pick. If your fame is not good with a particular merchant's race, then expect to pay more and get less.
Check fame at Task-bar>Communications>FAME>YOU (Shift+F). Merchant sell goods and/or services. Goods merchants can also buy and sell the items that you gather or craft. with some restrictions:
- Goods that you give to a dealer to sell are available to all and only merchants who are on the same sub-continent as the one where you gave them.
- The prices offered by the merchant offers to you depend on your fame with the nation which governs the land.
- If the item you sell is bought, you will be paid the price you chose, if not the merchant's chosses the price he'll pay it to you.
